I bought this for my brand new vehicle. My friend's dog is short haired and sheds all the time, and every time the dog jumps in the car of Brazilian hair gets snagged in the little hexagons or whatever the shape is. I have to constantly use sticky roller to clean it, but it doesn't protect the leather seats
