Simple design, great value and function.
It is 3 pieces. Bowl. Float. Snap on ring. Works. The float only allows access to few ounces at a time. Puppy sippy cup! My new puppy believes water is BEST when you stick your whole head under water along with both front paws! Um, no Gustopher. That is an outside ONLY activity! We keep this in his crate during "nap time" along with food and a few toys. He has gnawed on the ring and even gotten it loose a time or two (that might be on me.) But the float stays put. Cannot say leak proof as it does not seal but if you are looking to slow compulsive water consumption or discouraged splashing this is very useful.

Seriously it’s only been a day having this bowl and it has been an absolute FLOOR AND SANITY SAVER!!!! I can finally keep things dry and clean!!!! I have an extremely sloppy drinking lab who usually leaves a gallon of water on the ground and a frenchie that drinks so fast he pukes water. Usually I go through 3 large towels cleaning up after these guys every 10-30 minutes but yesterday I only used one small hand towel to pick up little drips from my lab’s cheeks! And NO WATER *****!!!! so dang happy with this purchase! When they come out with a bigger one I’m definitely buying it! TEN STARS
Too big
It’s too big for my puppy. Going to give it away. It’s a cool concept just wish they had one smaller for my Yorkie. I want to really love it. It does keep the water clean. I played with it to see if it would hold up to its expectations.
Works but dog has found workaround
This worked great for our Goldendoodle pup whose chin whiskers are always soaking wet. He gets very excited about drinking water and is able to push the float down while drinking if he wants to and we have dribbles of water still on our floor. It still is much better than it used to be though. As the plastic snap ring ages, I hope it doesn't become brittle and break. If it happens, the float and bowl are still usable though. The snap ring is the only part that feels not so durable.
It works very well and nicely designed
Very nice designed water bowl and works as descripted, does not spill! It looks nice as well. My puppy loves to drink water from it. It is very easy to setup for car and the water doesn't spill out during driving as long as it stays flat on the seats. You can also take out the spill-proof top layer out and it becomes a normal water bowl when you are using it at home.
