Definitely Durable and Waterproof
I was worried from reviews that this might not be fully waterproof. As soon as it was delivered I took the slipcover out and tested it with some water. After 15 min the water resistant top layer did soak in the liquids but that was it. It never soaked through the back. It fit my extra large couch very well (measure before ordering). Test it when you first get it if your nervous.
I like it.
These are very thick (maybe a little too thick)with a backing so it doesn't slide, but cool to set on, I wish it had more texture or pattern ...one thing is you have to really push to tuck in on back of couch & ends & tends to come out.., but over all a good product, haven't tried the water test on it & have not washed yet.
Exactly what I needed
These fit my oversized back cushion Bradington recliner couches perfectly. They don’t slip. The elastic strap stretched in the right places. I spilt a drop of water and it beaded up, didn’t stick at all. My cats have pressed their nails into it and it didn’t rip (no stitches) but also protected the leather from harm.
great starter cover
Cover is fantastic with covering the couch. I do wish there was a better system to keep it on the couch though...probably is user error. Other than that its a great cover! I have two rambunctious dogs, one old lady cat that sits on the top of the couch, and one young cat that thinks he's a dog. This as definitely saved my couch.
Great covers
Rubberized backing has separated from cloth part after about 10 washes. Cover is great for its water (urine) proofness. We purchased these to protect out new couches from a pet with a urination issue. After washing them so many times we opted for incontenance pads on top as they are easier to wash. These covers do wash up fine in home washer/drier
