My pup will be two in March and weighs about 35 lbs. He's grown a lot. I'm fairly certain that none of the coats, sweaters, etc that I purchased for him in his first winter will fit this year. This coat, however, I think is going to last for a bit. It's well-made and has enough stretch in the body that it fits well in the torso and the ribbed collar fits at the neck without choking. Picture of my pup channeling his inner catalog model in his new coat. Also, is this not his color? So handsome.

I bought this in a medium for my 23 lb Boston Terrier. I have not seen another jacket/sweater that has such attention to detail. This one can actually be used with a harness as it has a double zipper feature which I photographed. It also has the traditional collar slot.. I liked how the belly band had elastic to allow for a little stretch. It is very nicely lined in a quilted silky material. The jacket is machine washable which is helpful. Because it has Velcro, it is very easy to put on and take off.

Nice coat, very well made. Unfortunately, the X-Large size did not fit our medium-large rescue. The strap did not reach around her ribs. Normally an XL fits her fine, would recommend going at least 1 size up.

I purchased this coat for my 70# dog based on the 19" neck and 26" chest on the chart for XXL. It is not even close to fitting my dog. It's a shame because the coat is very nice. I'd say the XXL would fit a 30-35 pound dog. I'd call this more of a medium than XXL. The coat is not super thick but is thick enough for a car ride to the vet or a walk in the park, maybe down to 40 degrees depending on how furry your dog is and how well they tolerate the cold. This is definitely not a winter coat in my climate where temps go to zero. I do like that it reflective and easy to take on and off. I prefer a zipper or buckle closure on top because eventually the velcro will wear out and need to be replaced or the coat will be trash at that point.This coat will be donated to a dog at a shelter since it won't fit my dog.
