My dog loves this, she gets excited and does a little spin when i pull it out. Shes an 11y/o papillon dachshund mix and i even take her to the grocery store in it and people always comment that she looks so calm and comfortable. I like that the hip strap adds extra security and i think its a great solution for aging pets or those that have limitations to their physical activity. (My doge has a twisted paw). Would recommend to anyone with a pet that likes being swaddled/ close to their mama or papa. Would not recommend for someone with a more restless or hyper pet as it’s a constricted design for something that wants to turn around or lay down. They pretty much can sit in one position inside there:)

This purchase has been heaven sent...before this pack, our older dog often couldn’t come along on family outings. But now she can! I originally purchased because my 10 year old Boston was going blind and therefore no longer wanted to walk, but still enjoyed going along. Which meant I had to carry her, and that got old real fast. Since the purchase, my dog has had her eye removed and a pace maker placed, so needless to say this backpack gets a ton of use. The straps and back lining are padded and comfortable for both human and pet. The straps cross in the front and there is a belly strap to help distribute the weight. The size large is perfect for my 12lb dog to sit naturally with her head out of the hole. She loves the pack and it took very little training to get her acclimated to it. She goes right in and does not fuss at all. Easy to get her in and out. Takes a bit of talent and patience to get it adjusted on the human, although I find it easiest to put dog in pack, then put pack on while sitting on the floor. Pack is well made and fits both myself and my hubby well. This pack has giving my older dog her life back to explore the world again.
